Eight pieces built as a family rather than as one-offs: fixed pixel-per-unit, a locked ramp of eight values per material, and outlines that hold at 100% zoom on a dark scene.
Individually nice sprites stopped reading as one world — mixed pixel sizes, drifting palettes and outlines that vanished against dark tiles.
Locked a single palette and pixel grid, drew silhouette first, then dithered only where a material needed it, and tested every piece against the darkest and lightest tile in the set.
A coherent RPG kit — market stall, forge, chest, crystal, campfire, hero and two enemies — that drops straight into a tile-based scene.
